Salt River Tubing is open seven days a week on the lower Salt River, weather and water conditions permitting.
7 minutes from Loop 202 East on Mesa’s North Power Road. Salt River Tubing operates under license from the USDA Forest Service in Tonto National Forest.
Salt River Tubing hours of operation are 9 AM to 6:30 PM on weekdays and 8 AM to 6:30 PM on weekends. The fee is $25 per person or tube and includes tube rental, shuttle transportation to and from the parking lot, and parking. The shuttle pass costs $18 for customers who bring their own tubes.
Salt River Tubing does not rent life jackets/vests. However, they can be purchased at the snack bar for $15 each.
A tubing trip down the Salt River in Arizona is a fun and relaxing way to spend a summer day. The Salt River is a gently winding waterway that meanders through the scenic Tonto National Forest. Salt River is one of Arizona’s most popular spots for tubing, so you’ll be floating with other tubing groups. The scenery along the river is beautiful, with towering saguaro cacti, lush greenery, and the occasional glimpse of wildlife. After floating for a few hours, you’ll arrive at a take-out point where you’ll have time to return your tubes and enjoy a well-deserved lunch and snacks before heading home, the release states.

- All guests must be 8 years or older and 4 feet or taller.
- Glassware is prohibited by law. Coolers are inspected before rafting.
