Authorities found the frozen body of a German businessman inside a house in southern Thailand on Tuesday.

Police Chief Tawee Kuttaren said authorities had succeeded in locating the body after reviewing CCTV footage in the area, according to the Associated Press. The article said Thai media had released photos and videos showing a black truck full of freezers and a person crouching beside it.
According to a missing persons notice circulated by Mack’s family, the deceased was last seen driving a Mercedes sedan in the coastal city of Pattaya in southern Thailand. Bangkok-based news site Khaosod English reported that a forensic team had released a photo of the site inspecting garbage bags taken from a large white freezer. The bag contained a Makita cordless chainsaw, two yellow-handled hedge clippers, and two plastic rolls, according to the Associated Press.

Tawee said a substantial amount of money was missing from Mack’s bank account and investigators suspected the money was linked to the murder, according to the Associated Press.
