On June 30, 2013, tragedy struck Yavapai County. A fearless group of firefighters, the Granite Mountain Hotshots tragically lost their lives while fighting the ferocious Yarnell Hill Fire to save countless lives in their community.
The Arizona 100 Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the heroes who died in the Yarnell Hill fires and giving them hope for a brighter future.

Ten years later, their memory lives on through their work. 100 Club of Arizona, an organization that honors these fallen heroes while offering hope for a brighter future. The organization conducts an annual scholarship program to support aspiring college students and, in an inspiring and empowering manner, offers 19 scholarships named after the Granite Mountain Hotshots.
The Arizona 100 Club Scholarship Program serves as a beacon of light for all immediate family members of first responders. Over the years, they have contributed more than $2.5 million to his scholarship. This year, they provided their largest funding to date, receiving more than 200 applicants and distributing nearly $500,000 in scholarships to nearly 100 recipients. Scholarships ranged from $5,000 to $10,000, and beneficiaries came from cities throughout the state, including Scottsdale, Mesa, Prescott, Glendale, Wickenburg, and Apache Junction.
By providing financial assistance to eligible students, the program ensures that these hot-shot memories live on as a source of inspiration, not just a tribute.
Through scholarships, the 100 Club honors heroes by investing in the potential of future generations, enabling them to pursue their dreams and achieve their educational goals. By reducing the financial burden associated with higher education, the program allows students to focus on their studies and pursue their passions without hesitation.
This program commemorates the Granite Mountain Hotshots and pays tribute to their strong and timeless heritage. These not only honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice, but ensure their unwavering spirit continues to inspire and guide generations of feature films.
