State police have reportedly launched an investigation after a human skeleton was found near a highway in New York on Thursday.
New York State Police responded to a call from a driver who had stopped a car on the Robert Moses State Parkway in Islip, Long Island, at about 7:15 a.m. and discovered what appeared to be a human body in a wooded area.
