Tucker Interviewed Almost Every Major Presidential Candidate. Fox News Didn’t Cover It

Fox News on Friday apparently didn’t cover interviews between Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson and nearly all of the 2024 Republican presidential candidates.

Carlson interviewed high-profile candidates such as former Vice President Mike Pence, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis during Blaze TV’s live event. He doesn’t appear to have picked up the interview on the network’s cable show or website.

Fox News said in a statement on April 24 that Carlson had left the network just days after reaching a $787.5 million settlement with Dominion Boating Systems.

Lawyers for the network have reportedly accused Carlson of breaching a $20 million-a-year contract by launching a new show on Twitter in June. Fox News is now reportedly saying that Carlson will not work until his contract expires in 2025. Carlson and his legal team then received a “stop and stop” letter from the station on June 12 to stop him from appearing on the Twitter series.

Carlson’s attorney said: Said If the network takes legal action, Axios’ First Amendment rights will be violated. (Related: ‘Nobody Likes Her’: Maegyn Kelly Guess Who Spearheaded Attack on Tucker on FOX News)

The station laid off the rest of the staff working on Carlson’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight.” Among the employees laid off was a producer who had been making shows for many years. A Fox producer told the Daily Caller that their jobs were assured a week after two of Carlson’s other producers left the show.

During the event, The Daily Caller co-founder told Scott that while the government allowed drug cartels to transport fentanyl across the U.S.-Mexico border, U.S. leaders allied with Mexico about us. He added that while the United States has accused and sanctioned Russia, he claimed that he did not know a single American killed by Russia.

Scott has vowed to target drug cartels and stop the flow of fentanyl into the country.

He also pressured former Vice President Mike Pence to help aid Ukraine, while the country simultaneously targeted the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which has ties to Russia. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced a crackdown on the Orthodox Church in December 2022.
