Philadelphia Woman Comes Home To 4 Alleged Burglars, Shoots 2 Of Them, Police Say

A Philadelphia woman took matters into her own hands Sunday morning by shooting two suspected robbers dead at her apartment, police said.

A woman broke into her apartment in the city’s Germantown district with four men suspected of robbery, police said. according to NBC 10 Philadelphia.

Police said a woman opened fire and attacked two men during the ensuing clash, the newspaper said.

Police said the suspects fled the apartment, but the two were unable to escape. according to WPVI.

The newspaper said police had arrived at the woman standing outside with one of the robbery suspects, who had been killed by two gunshots.

Police identified the robbery suspect as Jermaine Parker and sent him to Einstein Medical Center, WPVI reports.

Miller was shot in the back and is in critical condition and is stable at Einstein Medical Center, the newspaper said.

According to NBC 10 Philadelphia, investigators say a woman shot Miller and Parker in self-defence, and both are now facing burglary charges.

Police said the status of the other two robberies remains unknown, according to WPVI.
