Small Business Development Center announces Moonshot competition

4th Annual Arizona Pioneer Pitch Statewide Tour

GRAHAM COUNTY – Do you have a “moonshot” idea or an existing business you want to expand? Or just a product or business idea written down on a napkin?

If yes, join the Graham/Greenlee AZ Pioneer Pitch, a competition for entrepreneurs (aka a showcase like you see on ABC’s Shark Tank) at the EAC. The reception will take place on Thursday, June 22nd from 5:30am to 7:00pm and the contest will take place on Friday, June 23rd from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Participation in this event is free.

Also, the winner of the Rim Country Pioneer Pitch Contest is play in the statewide finals Win a prize of $10,000. The event, which also honors successful moonshot entrepreneurs, is scheduled to take place in Flagstaff in July 2023.

How to apply

To apply, candidates must: Submit an online application. Applicants should describe their startup idea, what they feel their unique selling proposition is, and why their product is superior to those already on the market.

please note: Registered Graham/Greenlee Pioneer Pitch attendees will participate in a free workshop to help you prepare and perfect your five-minute pitch presentation at the Moonshot Pioneer Pitch on June 23rd.

workshop will be held June 14th and June 21st Held from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in Room 111, Academic Programs Building, EAC Campus. Participants can attend either or both workshops. The better you prepare, the better your chances!
