Tucson, Arizona (KGUN) — U.S. Representative Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06) has received $27 million in federal funding for Arizona’s 6th congressional district.
The fund supports projects ranging from emergency radios to clean water, benefiting all five counties in the district.
“From emergency radios to clean water, I’m working to ensure that these federal funds strengthen communities across the district,” Ciscomani said. “We are pleased to announce that we have funded projects in all five counties of Arizona’s Sixth District and have used our position on the House Appropriations Committee to give our tax dollars back to our communities.”
Ciscomani’s efforts on the House Appropriations Committee have paid off, securing these key allocations pending approval on the floors of the House and Senate.
Congressman Siskomani secured $3.57 million in federal funding.
- $3.5 million to replace wireless integrated network radios in Pima County. Improve emergency communications for safety agencies.
- $70,000 for Marana’s 3D scanner for crime scene records. Assist in accurate crime scene analysis and prosecution of violent crimes.
In addition, Rep. Ciscomani secured an additional $20 million in federal funding for Arizona’s Sixth District.
- $14.5 million for transportation and housing. Improve infrastructure and housing opportunities.
- $1.8 million for energy and water projects that address environmental concerns.
- Contribute $3.1 million to agriculture and rural development to promote prosperity and food safety measures.
