Somerton, AZ (KYMA, KECY) – In 2022, Housing America continues its sponsorship of the AZ Interagency Farmworkers Coalition Scholarship Program. Also, I did a fundraiser for Summerton High School.
Housing America is currently supporting three local school districts with 2023 donations, according to a press release.
Specifically, the agency has awarded donations to the following school districts:
- Gadsden Elementary School District ($17,500)
- Somerton School District ($17,500)
- Welton Elementary School ($5,000)
“San Luis, Somerton and Welton support our mission to make homeownership affordable in their respective communities. , is a new addition to the student population,” explained Manuel Figueroa, President of Housing America.
Overall, donations are for programs and/or equipment that benefit students.
Additionally, Housing America celebrates 50 years of community service.
“We don’t just build housing for low-income families, we empower people and build and support communities,” added Figueroa.
