GAMA SOSA: Why Do Leftists Promote Obesity, Crappy Architecture, And Other Ugly Monstrosities?

For a country to be successful, it needs people with a certain kind of civic pride, not only in its past achievements, but also in the here and now. Nations not only take pride in offering the best yesterday, they also take pride in what they have to offer starting today: the beauty and order that God intended. That means clean and prosperous cities, healthy, physically attractive and God-fearing people, and of course aesthetically beautiful cities and towns that people want to live in and visit.

America used to be like that. From the early days of the Republic to her 1960s, the United States was proud of its neoclassical public buildings, cathedral-like schools, and most importantly, its people. America meant a country with a strong nuclear family. orderly city And while communities where children could play unsupervised and sadistic lawlessness were limited to organized crime, ironically, they were much better run locally than the DNC is today.

Not so much today. Detroit is a Third World conflict zone, while cities such as New York, to a lesser extent, sacrifice architectural charm, family and religious institutions with soulless, brutalist architecture and corporate drones that haunt them. Fat is beautiful, beauty is racist, Dylan Mulvaney is a woman, and the men who made America great are being beaten down to make way for George Floyd and his cronies. Schools look like prisons without watchtowers. (Related: ‘Fat gift to legal sharks feeding on the bottom of New York City’: Mayor signs weight discrimination bill)

Critics and utilitarians will undoubtedly protest that usefulness takes precedence over beauty at any time, adding that the latter doesn’t matter as long as it works. But such arguments ignore the human tendency to be inspired by beauty. Look at Italy. Over the centuries, succeeding generations of geniuses drew inspiration from the accomplishments of previous generations and their surroundings to create most of the world’s most cherished cultures.

The Left (or at least those who rule the Left) probably understand this better than anyone else, especially so-called “Conservatives” and Republicans. Many of them epitomize the American cultural problem of obsession with GDP and economic growth at the expense of national well-being.

In fairy tales and myths, the protagonist is almost always a man (or rarely a woman) who achieves the impossible. Maiden Pursuit (Which is obviously sexist for Liv), protecting God, country and people, or family/children, all of these are the very embodiment of what we consider “good and beautiful.”

If people are willing to fight for women, for the beauty of cities, for civilization, social degradation will paralyze them into a state of despair and inaction. This is where the demoralizing aspect comes into play. No wonder brutalist architecture imported straight from the Soviet Union became the model for public housing in the 1960s, creating a ghetto where despair, addiction and crime reign daily. And, surprisingly, once-thriving cities like Detroit and New York have turned into sewers and no one thinks they’re worth fighting for anymore.

The same goes for feminism. Feminism has turned women against men. The document told women that in order to be emancipated they had to become bossy, domineering and generally intolerable men. It told women that they should only accept men who were feminized against their instincts. Today, it is said that becoming a fat “girl boss” is an object of admiration. Men are being told to stop being men and become ugly, asshole women who logically end up being Dylan Mulvaney. In effect, the man and woman became the ugliest cartoon versions of each other. And society encouraged it.

And here is the problem. No one defends the society, women, and governments that produce such people. Men will fight and die for their beautiful and virtuous wives and children. The same is true of the material aspects of civilization, such as buildings and churches, which, after all, are the result of societies raising productive, educated, and skilled children who are willing and able to create architectural marvels like the old train station in Detroit and the Polish cathedral in Chicago. However, no one is going to fight, let alone die, for Lizzo or her ordinary female boss who is addicted to smartphones. (Related: Lizzo Twerks playing James Madison’s 200-year-old crystal flute)

Instead, such men will withdraw from society and find refuge in pornography and other escapism, but they will not fight. They just don’t get the point and it’s hard to blame them. But visionary leaders can break this cycle. The mere possibility of a better future for our children is enough to motivate people to get off their couches and stand up for what is good, true and beautiful.

When people voted for Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again, they voted not just for military or GDP, but for a return to another time when America was beautiful. A true visionary, he fulfilled EO’s mission. Neoclassical Federal Building Because he understood that America would only be “great again” if people fought for and had something beautiful that they felt was worth the effort. The rest of the economy, GDP and military superiority will come naturally afterward.

Otherwise, no one cares if “beautiful America” becomes “ugly America” or if she dies. And that’s exactly what the Left wants.
