These are NJ’s most affordable vacation destinations, survey says

Just because we’re halfway through summer doesn’t mean we’ve lost the chance to plan a great family vacation. Even better, you can do it without putting a huge strain on your wallet.

‘Affordable’ doesn’t mean ‘inferior’ or ‘mediocre,'” notes FamilyDestinationsGuide.com’s Rose Ackerman. “The budget-friendly travel destinations offer a wealth of options, offering everything from breathtaking outdoor experiences to cultural experiences, charming local accommodations and gourmet food without breaking the bank.

FamilyDestinationsGuide used an online panel survey of 3,000 adults based on age, gender, and geography to confirm the presence of diverse demographics.

Neighboring New York State was named the top two destinations, followed by Coney Island in second place and Long Beach in first place. Good for New York, but what about those looking for a staycation?

Five of the top 175 family-friendly destinations are right here in the Garden State, so you don’t even have to travel out of state for a cost-effective vacation.
