Authorities have not released details of the circumstances leading to the collapse of the terrace, but the victim is said to have suffered multiple injuries, including broken bones, cuts, abrasions and a head injury. However, no one was seriously injured, Billings Police Department spokesman Lieutenant Matt Rennick said, according to CBS News. Mark Zagel, who allegedly fell off the deck, reportedly said he was “okay” after the fall but had “a lot of bruising” on his right side. report.
“I’m fine, but my ribs on my right side are pretty bruised and I have a few other small bumps. I didn’t break anything, I didn’t have a head injury… I had multiple other more serious injuries, mostly broken bones,” he said. “I hit someone directly and had to help her get off her.”
