Bullhead City (KTNV) — At least 7,800 fentanyl pills are left on the streets thanks to two recent drug raids by the Bullhead City Police Department.
Detectives pulled over a suspected traffic violation near Highway 95 and Mojave Drive in Bullhead City at 9:27 p.m. on July 18, officials said.
They said they searched the vehicle and found about 1,300 blue “M/30”-stamped pills containing a quarter pound of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and 1.4 grams of heroin.
The driver has been identified as 47-year-old Krisha Monique Mendoza Delatorre. She was taken to the Mojave County Jail in Kingman and charged with possession of drugs with intent to sell and possession of dangerous drugs with intent to sell.
Just two days later, at 9:30 a.m., police officers pulled over a vehicle for several traffic violations near Highway 68 and Adobe Road in Golden Valley, Arizona. Investigators said the vehicle was being searched after people inside gave “inconsistent statements” and were behaving strangely.
Then DPS K-9 detected illegal drugs. Police said they found 6,500 counterfeit blue “M-30” tablets containing one ounce of methamphetamine and fentanyl.
Police arrested Tania Ann Grogan, 38, Amy Meloney Montoya, 44, and Joshua Patrick Canno, 35, on charges of possessing drugs for sale and transporting drugs for sale. Grogan was also charged with possessing dangerous drugs for sale and transporting dangerous drugs for sale.
Cannon also had an arrest warrant issued by the Kingman-Servat Court of Justice, according to the police department.
Three were also held in the Mojave County Jail.
