Ah… the Subway series.
The New York Mets and New York Yankees faced each other in a Subway Series rivalry at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday night, with the Blue and Orange winning. 9-3 victory. But it wasn’t just the contest that Pinstripe lost…the stand also had losers on display.
At some point during the game, a Yankees fan was videotaped by an unidentified person pouring ice cream and barbecue sauce on a rival Mets fan.
The first time a Yankees fan threw ice cream at a Mets fan, it went unnoticed. The second act of Pinstriper throwing barbecue sauce on the Metropolitan also drew attention. But when the Yankees fan was about to eat another bowl of barbecue sauce, a Mets fan turned around and caught him.

As a Mets fan, I sympathize, especially in the last game.
The guy was just sitting there enjoying a baseball game and got ice cream and barbecue sauce poured on him. So, as most people do, he grabs a water bottle, tries to get the dust out of his hair, and ends up spraying another rival Yankees fan with water, who I got annoyed with the man.

I like the Yankees, but this was a bit of a sting move. No, I don’t want to hear how “offensive” the Metropolitan Museum of Art was.
