The monsoon outlook for Saturday, July 29, 2023 is as follows: Provided by: National Weather Service, Flagstaff, Arizona.
The Flagstaff National Weather Service said northern Arizona will continue to experience monsoons with more storms in the next few days. It looks like the monsoon could start to weaken after the middle of next week. The region will remain hot until today and will eventually begin to cool as monsoon activity increases.

of National Weather Service reports that there is a 30% chance of a storm forming in the Prescott Valley area this morning, increasing to 60% as the day progresses. Tonight’s chance drops to 40%, but it’s still possible. Highs in the Prescott Valley today are around 100 degrees, with overnight lows of 70 degrees. In Flagstaff, highs will be around 90 degrees today, with a 20-50% chance of thunderstorms, staying at 50% through the evening. Highs in Sedona and Cottonwood are around 104-107 degrees Celsius, with a 40% chance of an afternoon storm in Sedona and a 20-50% chance in Cottonwood.
The main dangers of a storm are high winds, heavy rain and lightning. Remember never to turn back across a flooded road or drown.
