Daredevil Remi Lucidi Dies At Age 30 During Dangerous Skyscraper Stunt In Hong Kong: Reports

Frenchman Remy Lucidi died in late July at the age of 30 while performing a radical stunt on a Hong Kong skyscraper, according to reports.

Lucidi was a daredevil stuntman who participated in extreme climbing, Associated Press report Monday. Police have confirmed a body was found on a patio in an affluent middle-class district in Hong Kong. Local media later identified the person as Lucidi, according to the Associated Press.

Initial investigations suggested Lucidi had fallen from the roof, the newspaper said. Detectives found no suicide note at the scene and his death is believed to be the result of a botched stunt, according to the Associated Press.

Lucidi was best known by the nickname “Remi Enigma” and frequently posted images of his daring stunts on social media.

About a week before the news of his death, Lucidi posted a photo on Instagram of the streets of Hong Kong at night. He tagged the location of the image as Times Square in the Causeway Bay shopping district. This photo appears to have been taken from above and may have been part of a stunt.
