Graham County – The Graham County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deceased woman found Wednesday night in the desert on S. Cluff Ranch Road south of Pima.

Authorities were dispatched around 5:50 p.m. Wednesday when a man called and reported that he had found his missing sister in the desert.

Lawmakers responded to an area north of Grandma Street and found “neglected death.”

62-year-old Jeannie Non Simpson was found dead by her brother who had been missing for weeks.

No missing reports were filed with Simpson, who has a history of substance abuse. Hmm. Her body was scheduled for an autopsy Thursday by the Pima County Coroner’s Office.

The situation is currently under investigation.
