Legalized sports betting is definitely the new fad happening across America right now, and Ohio is no exception, with state legislatures accepting large amounts of tax revenue to expand gambling within the state. .

Apparently, Ohio officials received 456 calls to the state's gambling addiction hotline in January 2022, but that number jumped to 1,400 during the same period in 2023. WTR-TV.
The Buckeye State began expanding its sports betting market in 2021 because lawmakers saw an incredible amount of tax revenue potential (can't blame them). Oh, and not to mention the fact that Ohio's legislators respect the freedoms of Americans. Shout that out to them.
According to the report, Ohio will generate a whopping $700 million in tax revenue from sports betting in 2023. WLW-TV.
