The City of Sedona is seeking musicians of all types to apply for the Spring and Fall 2024 Red Dirt Concert Series.
Red Dirt Concerts are free to the public and are held every Friday in May and September from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Posse Grounds Pavilion at Posse Grounds Park.
“The Red Dirt Concert Series is one of the most popular community events hosted by the Parks and Recreation Department, and it continues to get better and better. If history is any indication, 2024 will be the best yet. ” said Jason Vargo, Recreation Coordinator – Special Events.
The Red Dirt Concert Series was originally established in partnership with Friends of the Posse Ground as a platform to showcase and support local musicians and performers and provide community gathering and entertainment opportunities. The series continues to focus on showcasing local acting and is open to performers from outside Northern Arizona.
Each three-hour show will feature at least two acts. Applicants will be asked to provide examples of their own music/performance and a final selection will be made by a committee.
Applications can be found at SedonaAZ.gov/Concerts. Interested bands/performers should apply by Thursday, February 22nd at 6pm.
