‘Shoplifters Unite’: Flyer Calls For Mass Looting Of DC Supermarket

A poster found in a vacant store in Washington, D.C., calls for shoplifters to band together and raid local grocery stores en masse.

The flyer reads “Shoplifters Unite” and instructs readers to “take home anything that does not have a nail in it” and “close the windows” at their local Safeway. Fox 5 DC report.

The outlet only shared the top part of the flyer, which reportedly also contains “serious allegations” against Safeway that Fox 5 could not verify. The media also pointed out that it was not clear who posted the post.

The note was discovered in the window of a dilapidated storefront in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington, D.C. (Related: Most shoplifting in New York City is committed by the same 327 people)
