Actress Cindy Morgan, best known for her role on “Caddyshack,” was found dead in her home on December 30th at the age of 69.
Morgan's roommates said they became concerned for her safety after she returned to her Lake Worth Beach home from vacation. TMZ. She reportedly knocked on Morgan's door but received no response from the famous actress. Her roommate reportedly noticed a strong odor emanating from Morgan's room at the time. She called police to ask for her help, and police found the woman dead in her room, the newspaper said.
Morgan's death was confirmed by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, but no further information was provided about the circumstances surrounding her death. According to TMZ, Morgan's roommate said the last time she saw the famous actress alive was on December 19th.
An investigation has been launched into the cause of Morgan's death, but no criminal activity is suspected at this time. According to TMZ, a county representative said Morgan appeared to have died of natural causes.

Morgan is best known for her role as Lacey Underall in the 1980 hit film Caddyshack, co-starring Chevy Chase, Bill Murray and Rodney Dangerfield.
Her filmography also includes many other impressive film works, including a dual role in 'Tron', where Morgan played Laura and Yori. Her famous actress also appeared in “Galaxy'', “Silent Fury'' and “Up Yours'', in addition to many other successful films.
Morgan also graced the small screen with various successful television roles. Her television credits include “The Love Boat,'' “CHiPs,'' “Bring 'Em Back Alive,'' and “The Fall Guy.'' According to TMZ, she also appeared in “Falcon Crest,'' “Under Suspension,'' “Matlock,'' “The Highwayman,'' “Hunter,'' “Mancuso, FBI,'' and “The Larry Sanders Show.''

Morgan's body was reportedly placed at a funeral home in Florida. Funeral details have not yet been made public.
