Jo Koy, who hosted the 81st Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, took aim at Taylor Swift, and her blunt response to his comments has become a hot topic of conversation.
The famous comedian served as master of ceremonies and joked about the attention Swift is getting as a result of her new romance with hunky Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelce. “You know, we came out after a football doubleheader. Big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL. I swear there are fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift at the Golden Globes,” he said. The cameras then focused on Swift, who made his feelings about this comment pretty clear.

Swift was clearly unimpressed with the dig. This famous singer is known for living her life fully for the camera, often making exaggerated facial expressions when the camera turns in her direction. Things were very different this time.
Swift looked away from the camera and slowly sipped her drink until her attention left. She seemed to be trying very hard not to make any kind of reaction, avoiding direct eye contact. Koi was canceled at first sight.

Her silence spoke volumes, and Koy seemed to immediately realize the depth of her mistake.
“Sorry about that,” Coy quickly muttered into the microphone, trying to deflect from the awkward moment.
Swift's devoted fans, known as Swifties, immediately set social media on fire in her defense. Memes took over on Twitter as her fans blasted Coy as a “terrible host” and fans named their favorite stars to slam him.
