caleb dillard
Former Marine and Mountain Brook resident Caleb Dillard was sentenced in November to 10 months in prison, 12 months of supervised release, and ordered to pay $36,238.55 in restitution. Dillard was arrested on August 23, 2022, and pleaded guilty to charges including assault and obstruction of law enforcement. He is awaiting prison assignment but was cleared to travel to Tennessee for Christmas 2022.
Ronnie Coffman
Ronnie Coffman, a Vietnam veteran who was arrested after the insurrection, was charged with 17 charges, including possession of Molotov cocktails, weapons and ammunition. He pleaded guilty to possessing an unregistered firearm and carrying a pistol without a license on November 12, 2021, and was later sentenced to 46 months in prison and three years of supervised release.

Joshua Matthew Black, of Leeds, was sentenced in May to 22 months in prison and required to pay restitution after being found guilty of three felonies and two misdemeanors.

Russell Dean Alford
Russell Dean Alford, who was arrested in Birmingham on March 29, 2021, was found guilty of several charges, including entering a restricted building and disorderly conduct inside the Capitol. On February 2, 2023, he was sentenced to 12 months in prison and the same period of supervised release, and was also fined $500.
Kari Kelly
Mobile insurance adjuster Kari Kelly was arrested on February 26, 2021, for participating in the Capitol breach. Although she initially maintained her innocence, she later changed her plea and she was sentenced to 36 months' probation and a $500 fine on March 17, 2022.
Anthony Mazzio
Anthony Mazzio, a resident of Dothan, was arrested on April 4, 2022, following charges filed in March. He pleaded guilty to charges related to the parade at the Capitol and was sentenced to 60 days in jail, suspended for three years, and fined $500.
Gregory Nix
Gregory Nix, who was arrested in November 2021, was charged with eight crimes, including using a flagpole as a weapon against a police officer. He pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer and was sentenced on June 2, 2023, to 42 months in prison, 24 months of supervised release, and a $2,100 fine.
bobby russell
Bobby Russell, of Falkville, was arrested on Aug. 24, 2022, on charges of disorderly conduct and assault on a police officer. After pleading his guilt, he was sentenced to 12 months and one day in prison and two years of supervised release.
The cases of Kenneth Thomas, Joshua James, Jonathan Walden, and William Watson are either ongoing or details are not being released at this time.
