Storm closes Sunset Crater in Arizona. Here’s when it will open

The National Park Service announced that Flagstaff National Monument will open late Monday, Jan. 8, as a winter storm dumped snow in northern Arizona.

Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, Wupatki National Monument and Walnut Canyon National Monument will open with a two-hour delay as crews work to clear snow, park service staff announced. Sunset Crater Facebook page.
