Pianist Victor Rosenbaum to perform in Yuma

Arizona Western University Department of Visual and Performing Arts presents Rosenbaum

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – World-renowned American pianist Victor Rosenbaum will perform in Yuma on Thursday, February 29th.

According to Arizona Western College (AWC), the concert will begin at 7 p.m. in Snyder Auditorium at Yuma High School, 400 S. 6th Avenue.

Rosenbaum performs works by Mozart, Brahms, Chopin, and Schubert.

The concert is free for everyone to attend.

According to AWC, Victor has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician in the United States, Europe, Israel, Brazil, Russia, and Asia.

He has performed in prestigious halls such as Tully Hall in New York City and the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Victor has collaborated with many artists, is also a composer, and frequently conducts in the Boston area and elsewhere.

He recently retired from the faculty of the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, where he taught for more than 50 years.

He also served as chair of the piano department for over 10 years and also served as chair of the chamber music department.

Victor has been involved in multiple music schools and education in the United States and abroad.

He has also taught and performed in Japan, Korea, Israel, Taiwan, Austria, and Bulgaria.
