‘Get Out Of My Face, Bro’: Eagles Tackle Fletcher Cox Unloads On Reporter For Asking Question About Nick Sirianni

It's not always sunny in Philadelphia. The Eagles are a great example.

Just ask for a defensive tackle. Fletcher Cox, not trying to hear questions about head coach Nick Sirani. When a reporter asked about the rumors circulating about Shirani, his job security, and his confidence in his captain after the AFC Wild Card Round loss, the Philadelphia All-Pro fired back.

“Did you have any idea what was going to happen to Nick?” asked a reporter by Cox's locker Wednesday afternoon. “Are you confident that you can trust him if he comes back and he’s also the head coach?” (Related: 15 fans hospitalized while watching Icy Dolphins vs. Chiefs game: Report)

Cox glanced at the reporter and replied, “Any news, but what about Nick?”

The reporter went on to explain, “There is obviously speculation as to whether he will be fired or not.''

That made Cox simply say, “Huh?”

And things escalated from there, with Cox calling the reporter a “clown” and telling him to “get out of my face.”

Fletcher Cox and Jason Kelce, especially Cox getting defensive against Sirianni, show that the conflict between him and wide receiver AJ Brown isn't Nick's fault.

Now, I want to know what the Eagles plan to do…will they keep Shirani?

I don't think I would ever ask Cox.
