Motivational speaker Tony Robbins spoke Friday with Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson about the key ingredients he's discovered for living an “extraordinary life.”
Robbins appeared on Carlson's Twitter show, “The Tucker Carlson Encounter,” and talked about the foundations he built to lead a successful life. Carlson cited the 2008 economic crisis as an example of how Americans can deal with “reality” when some may feel like “the system is rigged.” I asked the following speaker a question. “You mentioned twice the reality-based perception that people have that the system is rigged and that they can’t win. As you said, I think that’s something that has emerged since 2008. But it goes even deeper. I mean, people really feel that way. How do you, what do you say to them?'' Carlson asked.
Robbins said the key to improving your “life experience” is based on what you “focus” on. The motivational speakers pointed out that there have always been problems and emphasized that when people look back on history, they can even politicize ongoing problems.
“Your life experience is not your life. Your life experience is the life you focus on. There must be something. I have more than 100 companies, there are many. [of] Employees around the world, in different industries – What are the chances that someone will fail right now? Am I doing something I think I shouldn't? 100 percent,” Robbins said.

“I can focus on that and stress about it, or I can focus on what I can control. I can focus on what I can do and what's great. What's wrong is always available. Yes, and you know what's right. So we have problems like this all the time, study history. People are talking about, “This is the worst political time in history.'' I hear. We’ve never been so mad at each other,” Robbins said.
Robbins continued by describing the historical context between the elections of John Adams and Thomas Jefferson in 1800, emphasizing that their political climate made today's government “appear moderate.” Robbins went on to say that the right attitude he learned from his mentor, John Rohn, was the “need to feed” one's own mind rather than deferring to others. “I have a little article about two different posters from the Adams vs. [what] Republicans and Democrats, liberals and conservatives say this today. We've always had it, it's a cycle. We go through cycles. And if you know the cycle, it's not that scary,” Robbins said.
“You say, 'Okay, this has happened before. How can I take advantage of this?' But then you say, 'Oh my God, this is stacked against me. If you go into it with just the mindset of “I can't win,” that's self-fulfilling. Therefore, you should not be one among many.you have to think differently, you [have] To educate myself. One of the biggest things that Jim Rohn taught me was, “Look, if you want to live an extraordinary life, you have to feed your soul, and you have to feed your soul.'' Don’t feed it,’” Robbins added.
Robbins has been in the spotlight as a motivational speaker since the early 1980s, but a report published by Buzzfeed News in 2019 found that the self-help guru was known for his staff and staff during events.
