Unlike the exciting battle with Mingus in their last match, the Lady Badgers took the initiative early and never looked back. A full-court press and quickness to the ball helped build to a 22-2 lead in the first quarter. Prisciandalo and Abt combined for 15 points in the quarter as the Thunderbirds struggled to score. Down 13-0, Mojave scored its only score of the quarter with 3:36 left in the half.

The lead continued to grow as Little came off the bench and made two three-point baskets for a 35-7 lead at the break.

In the third quarter, Prescott didn't let up, running all over the court and building a 59-15 lead. In the fourth quarter, both benches bought some time with running clocks to end the game.

Prisciandallo said: “It was a good game for us as we got a solid win against Mingus. We always have things to work on and our team has a good mindset and is focused on what we are trying to achieve. Prescott will play five of the next six games on the road. “It will be a challenge for us, but we can do it,” added Prisciandaro.

The Lady Badgers head into Flagstaff on a six-game winning streak and will face Coconino on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Prescott ended a five-year drought with a 62-54 home win against the Panthers on January 4th.

Prescott improved to (5-1) in GCR and (13-7) overall. Mojave falls to (0-7), (6-13).
