KJP Singles Out Peter Doocy, Accuses Him From Podium Of Being Politically Biased

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Monday accused Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy of political bias from the podium.

Jean-Pierre called former President Donald Trump from the stage as Doocy's “favorite president” and did not allow him to refute Doocy's accusations. Her remarks came after Doocy asked about an ABC poll finding that voters' views of Biden's mental sharpness and health have declined since May.

“Karine, why do you think President Biden is becoming less and less mentally sharp, so why do you think more than four people surveyed feel like they're working overtime?” Doocy asked.

“What poll is this?” Jean-Pierre asked.

“ABC has lowered President Biden's health rating by 5 points since May and his mental sharpness rating by 4 points,” Doocy read, citing the poll.

“You know, when you look at what this president has done over the last three years, the historic legislation, I have to say it's a little confusing to me. [the] “A lot of previous presidents have said that, like your favorite president, about a bipartisan infrastructure deal,” Jean-Pierre said.

“Who is my favorite president?” Doocy asked.

“Why not let the American people guess? No, no, stop it, end it, you asked the question,” she said as Doocy pushed back. (Related: 'What is the Biden brand?': Peter Doocy presses KJP to answer questions about Devon Archer's testimony about Hunter Biden)

“I don't know what you mean,” Doocy said.

“No, no, let me finish. Let me finish. Then you'll know who I'm talking about. 'Infrastructure Week' was the punch line. Whoever said it was a joke? It has become,” she said. “And now, thanks to this president, we are entering the Infrastructure Decade.”

Jean-Pierre also touted the Chips and Science Act and the Anti-Inflation Act as Biden's major accomplishments, arguing that they are “pretty sharp for a president.” She said the economy has improved since she took office.

“So I think it took a president like President Biden to get something like that done,” she continued. “Someone who has experience as a senator, someone who was vice president.” [vice president] He's clearly a guy who's been a pretty effective president for the last three years under President Obama.”
