‘Home Alone’ Star Devin Ratray In Critical Condition Amid Domestic Violence Trial

Devin Rattray, best known for his role as Buzz McAllister in the blockbuster movie, has reportedly been hospitalized in critical condition.

The famous actor was scheduled to appear in court for domestic violence, but it was postponed due to his injuries, reports said. TMZ. His lawyer informed the judge of his medical emergency but did not reveal what led to his condition. According to TMZ, court documents reveal that he was out of state at the time of his health crisis.

Jury selection was scheduled to begin Monday in Oklahoma, but was later suspended, the outlet reported. The pre-trial was reset to February following reports of the famous actor's emergency situation.

Rattray was recently discharged from a New York City hospital and is now resting and recovering at home, according to family members close to those involved. According to TMZ, they did not say what he was suffering from, but did note that doctors have told him to rest at this time.

It is unclear whether the 47-year-old man was admitted elsewhere and then transferred closer to home for further treatment.

Mr Rattray was arrested by police and charged with domestic violence based on a complaint from his ex-girlfriend Lisa. She accused her actor of hitting her during a drunken argument in December 2021. She told police that during her incident, a man pushed her and punched her in the face. The actor's estranged girlfriend also accused him of forcing her hand down her throat and mouth.

Lisa told police Rattray appeared to have said, “This is how I'm going to die.”

The “Home Alone” star was arrested on charges of felony domestic assault and battery by strangulation and misdemeanor domestic assault and battery.
