As the number of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border continues to rise, grow rapidly With each passing day, it appears that some states are experiencing more of the negative effects of mass immigration than others.
Texas shares a border with Mexico spanning more than 1,200 miles from the Gulf of Mexico to El Paso. Texas officials said the border is so wide that the Biden administration is not doing enough to ease the constant influx of illegal immigrants and crime onto Texas land.

Further exacerbating the already tense situation between Texas and the federal government, the U.S. Supreme Court earlier this week ruled 5-4 that the U.S. Border Patrol was established by the state of Texas at the direction of the Biden administration. In response, Texas Governor Greg Abbott promised to continue fortifying the border and issued a statement accusing Biden of being “lawless” in his handling of the southern border.
“James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and the other visionaries who drafted the U.S. Constitution were created to thwart external threats like cartels that smuggled millions of illegal immigrants across our borders. I foresaw that the state should not be left at the mercy of a lawless president who does nothing.”
Governor Kay Ivey has made it clear that Alabama supports the Lone Star State.

“Texas and the states have stepped up time and time again. The White House? Intentionally absent. Enough is enough,” Ivey posted.
“Texas, you can count on Alabama to be on your side,” the governor declared.
Members of Alabama's congressional delegation have expressed support for Mr. Abbott and support the idea that Texas does indeed have the right to secure its borders.

“Joe Biden has turned every state into a border state, and Texas is right in the middle of this crisis. “We are committed to doing our best,” said Rep. Jerry Carl, R-Mobile.
“I support him 100% and appreciate him being such a strong leader on this issue. I support people like him fighting back against the failed Biden administration. I will continue to do everything in my power to do so.”
Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Haleyville) simply said, “God bless Texas!”
