This February, Lake Havasu along the Colorado River will host Dirt Expo, a weekend of off-road racing events.
Dirt Expo, presented by Rugged Radios and Anderson Powersports, will be held Saturday and Sunday, February 24th and 25th, at Windsor State Park, 699 London Bridge Road Avenue.
“Lake Havasu has become a mecca for off-road enthusiasts from Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Southern California,” event owner Andy Myers said in a press release. “Beautiful Lake Havasu and the rugged Sonoran Desert make Havasu the perfect off-road destination. From the Peace Trail from northern and southern Arizona, to the back roads of Las Vegas, and a variety of off-road routes from Phoenix and Prescott. Until then, all routes lead to Havasu.”
More than 50 industry vendors will showcase their products and services during the two-day event.
“Registration for the Dirt Alliance Show and Shine portion of the expo is free,” Myers said. “Please make sure your vehicle is registered online at his THEDIRTEXPO.com.”
Participants must arrive on-site with their vehicle presentable by 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 25th. Vehicles will be judged and awards will be given to the best UTV, Truck, Overland and Prerunner.
Additionally, rideouts will take place on Thursday and Friday before Dirt Expo begins on Saturday. There may be rides on Saturdays after the expo closes.
Admission starts at $10. Children under 12 are free. Active military personnel are free if he has ID.
