This is the Washington Commanders, the Washington Redskins, whatever the move is…
Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn will be hired as the Washington Commanders' next head coach, Adam Schefter reports. ESPN.
Quinn replaces Ron Rivera, who was fired by new owner Josh Harris the day after the season ended. Washington hired Adam Peters as general manager on January 12th. This is Harris' first major football hire since acquiring the Commanders in July 2023. For the past three seasons, Quinn, 53, served as the Cowboys' defensive coordinator. Under his leadership, Dallas ranked fifth in total points, seventh in yards, and also led the league in forced turnovers with 93.
His previous experience as a head coach was with the Atlanta Falcons (2015-2020), where he led Atlanta to the Super Bowl following the 2016 season. After leading 28-3, they ultimately lost to the New England Patriots in overtime.

This is the kind of move you would expect from the managers given their short history as a brand name (and the Washington Football Team) and the history of the Redskins.
Well…let's hire a guy with a career record of 43 wins and 42 losses. And when he did manage to get to the Super Bowl, it ended up being a massive choke job and an embarrassment to the city of Atlanta.
Yes, this will solve all your problems.
So, Commander. So, Commander. Josh Harris is Dan Snyder 2.0.
