According to the Times, Kensington Palace set the record straight after Concha Calleja, a journalist with the Spanish news program Fiesta, made false claims about Duchess Kate.

“The surgery went well, but the postoperative course was not so good, and an unexpected and serious complication occurred,” Calleja reported, according to the Times. Mr Calleja also said Mr Middleton's life was in “great danger” following the ordeal, the report said. Palace insiders vehemently denied Calleja's claims and attacked journalists, claiming they had not done enough research or fact-checking.

There were also no official reports of coma.
Middleton is currently recovering and the palace says she is likely to return to work after Easter.
