YUMA, Ariz. — A Yuma man has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a 12-year-old family member, according to reports. us marshal department.
On Friday, 46-year-old Randall Medders was arrested by the Arizona Wanted Violent Offender Task Force with assistance from the Yuma Police Department.
Medders, who had been living with the victim's family since 2015, allegedly began abusing her in 2021. The abuse continued repeatedly and ended in 2022, according to the sheriff's office.
After the arrest warrant was issued, the Sheriff's Office, Wanted Unit, and Yuma Police Department were able to quickly locate Medders and take him into custody.
He is charged with child sexual abuse, sexual abuse, sexually motivated aggravated assault and voyeurism.
He is being held on $500,000 bail. According to the Yuma County Sheriff's Office.
