Amazon has reportedly fired a delivery driver for allegedly trying to steal a customer's dog.
Video of the encounter appears to show the Amazon driver and Terrika Currence's dog inside a delivery truck while it was parked at a Henry County residence. WSB TV report. A woman's daughter reportedly alerted her mother to the alleged theft of a red-nosed pit bull in progress.
“When I opened the door to put the package and dog food into the house, my daughter screamed and said, 'That Amazon guy stole our puppy,'” Currence told the magazine.

Karen, who was carrying luggage, immediately dropped it on the ground when she ran to retrieve her pet, the paper reported. She confronted the driver before he fled, and she said she opened the truck and found her dog in a trash can inside the vehicle.
“Fuck Amazon for taking my dog out of my yard!” Mr. Currency can be heard screaming in the video.

Amazon addressed the incident in a statement, according to Atlanta News First.
“We apologize to our customer and are glad that their dog was returned safely. The driver involved is no longer delivering for Amazon and has contacted law enforcement to assist in the investigation. '' said an Amazon spokesperson.
The unidentified delivery driver has not been charged with attempted theft, but is no longer affiliated with the company, according to WSB-TV. Atlanta News First reported that an investigation into the incident by Henry County police is ongoing.
