Tuscaloosa had a very special visitor this week, as supermodel Kendall Jenner was in town as part of her promotion. 818 tequila brand.

Five days ago, popular Tuscaloosa bar Innisfree teased a “big secret” on its social media page with today's date, and yesterday announced an “818 takeover” of its page, which Jenner's Some speculated that it might mean arrival.

Jenner, arguably one of the most famous people on the planet, made stops at the following locations: innisfree in 2 pm and Houndstooth at 3 p.m.

As she poured a $2 shot of 818 Blanco Tequila and a $4 margarita with her drink, she was jostled by fans trying to take pictures.

The brand “818'' comes from the area code of Jenner's hometown of Los Angeles. According to the website, the drink is “handpicked by Jimador. Cooked in a traditional brick oven. Aged in oak barrels. Delivered to you and your family directly from our home.” 818 says.

In October, the brand teased Jenner's campus visit in a post on its Instagram page, which boasts more than 1 million followers.

Kardashian-Jenner is one of the top 10 most followed people on Instagram, with a whopping 294 million followers. Believe it or not, she's probably the most famous person to ever step foot in Tuscaloosa, including Nick Saban himself.
