Deputies search for suspects in Arizona ATM theft with stolen truck

PHOENIX — A manhunt is underway for a suspect who used a stolen truck to rob an ATM machine in northwestern Arizona over the weekend, authorities said.

Deputies responded to an errand near Interstate 15 in Littlefield around 8 a.m. Sunday. This was announced by the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.. The caller reported that two men backed their truck in front of a gas station and stole the machine.

As authorities investigated the incident, they learned the truck had been stolen two days earlier from a landscaping company near Mesquite, Nevada.

What happened to the money in the stolen ATM?

Later that Sunday, Mesquite authorities found the truck abandoned with an ATM in the back, according to the sheriff's office. All cash had been stolen from the machine.

Authorities are also searching for two men who have been designated as “persons of interest.” Surveillance camera video showed them and the suspects before the theft. He was also seen getting in and out of a black Ford Explorer.
