Michael Keaton revealed details about the sequel “Beetlejuice'' in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE published on Monday, sparking excitement among “Beetlejuice'' fans.
Keaton expressed his joy at reuniting with the cast and crew of Beetlejuice as his latest film, “Knox Goes Away,'' became a hot topic. “It was the most fun I've ever had on set,” Keaton said. people. “On the other hand, you might think, 'Of course, that's the most fun.' Keaton emphasized the creative synergy with Burton, with whom he has collaborated on multiple projects including “Batman” and “Batman Returns.” In order to maintain the charm and whimsy of the Beetlejuice world, both parties were adamant about avoiding over-reliance on CGI and maintaining the authentic, handmade feel of the original Beetlejuice.
“What he and I decided early on from the beginning was that if we were to do it again, we had no interest in doing anything where there was too much technology,” he added. “It had to have a handmade feel.”
