Secret photos suspect appears in court

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – A former Walmart employee accused of taking photos under two women's dresses while on the job appeared in court Wednesday to face charges. It's to know.

The incident occurred at the Walmart on Avenue B near 24th Street, where police say secret photographs were taken, and both victims are women in their 40s.

A 20-year-old Yuma man was arrested by the Yuma Police Department and faces at least two felonies.

“They allege you committed two crimes, one count of voyeurism, a felony, and the second count of voyeurism, a felony,” Yuma County Superior Court Judge Gregory Stewart said.

Police said the secret photo was taken on Tuesday.

Some local Walmart shoppers expressed their thoughts.

“I'm not comfortable and I think it's very disgusting, but this is unacceptable,” said Jorge Samayego, a Walmart shopper.

“That's bad. No employee, especially a woman, no, anyone should do that. He shouldn't do that,” Walmart shopper Gustavo Telles said.

Another local resident said what he would do if he found himself in this situation.

“Oh, I don't want that. I might get really upset and argue with them and say, I don't understand what you're doing, please explain to me,” Walmart shopper Linda Hinde said. Told.

The man is being held in the Yuma County Jail on $25,000 bail and is scheduled to reappear in court Friday afternoon to see if he will be formally charged.
