House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan announced Friday that a new whistleblower from Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' office has allegedly come forward.
Jordan attended the 2024 Conservative Political Action (CPAC) conference in Washington, D.C., and served a subpoena in early February for documents related to an investigation into allegations that Willis misappropriated federal funds. We discussed further revelations since then.
During the question-and-answer session, former White House political director Matt Schlupp asked Jordan whether Willis had responded to the committee, to which Jordan replied that he was supposed to submit documents but had not yet done so. “Yes, we have issued a subpoena, but not yet. I have just talked to my staff,” Jordan said.
“Wait, she's supposed to contact you today?” Schlapp interjected.
“Yeah, she's supposed to deliver the papers to us,” Jordan replied.
“So, have you heard from her boyfriend?” Schlapp asked, alluding to fellow lawyer Nathan Wade, who admitted to having a personal relationship with Willis.

“Not yet. So I was talking about this in my office and I mentioned Fanny Willis and Nathan Wade, like Fanny-Wade, you know Freudian slip. So, no, we're I haven’t heard back from her yet. Let’s see what I can get from her,” Jordan replied. “But there was a whistleblower in her office and we talked. [from] Committee staff. ”
When Jordan mentioned whistleblowers, the CPAC audience erupted in applause.
“I believe the whistleblower is about 4 feet 11 inches tall,” Jordan continued. “But when Mr. Fanni Willis fired this woman and had, say, seven police officers escort her out, the reason this woman was not using federal funds, that is, in the proper way, was that she So she raised this concern and Fani Willis fired her. She is currently in talks with our office and we will see what happens. That is why we have subpoenaed records and documents related to this. Let's see what we get. There are still a few hours left today. ”
“She was funny too. Instead of accepting service of subpoenas, she ordered us to send in federal marshals,” Jordan added. “Even though our office was talking with her office, the back and forth continued. She had the U.S. Marshals serve a subpoena there. So this is Fani Willis. Think about it: We all saw her attitude on display a few weeks ago when she took the witness stand.”
Reports about Willis and Wade's relationship surfaced in January after attorneys for former Trump campaign official Michael Roman filed a complaint in court. As well as disclosing their relationship, Mr Roman claimed Mr Willis benefited financially from their partnership as the two allegedly spent the money on vacations. Willis has since acknowledged the relationship but denied any allegations of financial interest, and she took the stand last week at a hearing regarding her possible disqualification from the lawsuit against former President Donald Trump.
