The City of Kingman Solid Waste Department has begun the next phase of removing 300-gallon and 1.5-yard steel communal containers from alleys and placing each customer with a 90-gallon container in front of their home.
There is no additional charge for placing individual containers in an alley rather than a shared container. For customers using replacement containers, garbage collection days will remain the same. The project will be completed in multiple phases over the next few years.
This phase includes the following areas:
- 1700-1800 block of Airfield Avenue.
- 1700-1800 block of Hope Ave.
- 1700-1800 block of Club Ave.
- 1700-1800 block of Golden Gate Avenue
- 1700-1800 block of Gates Avenue
The City of Kingman deeply appreciates your patience during this transition period. If you have any questions, please call Solid Waste Supervisor Ed Tapia at 928-692-3102.
As a friendly reminder, and to best serve our residents, here are some tips to ensure you receive your container.
- Please leave it on the curbside by 6 a.m. on the day of pick-up.
- Keep it 6 feet away from parked vehicles, gas meters, and mailboxes.
- The lid of the container must remain closed. Do not overfill.
- If you would like to dispose of bulky garbage, we can pick up your bulky garbage. To schedule bulky trash pickup, call 928-692-3115.
