Cameron Diaz is currently in talks to star in Keanu Reeves and Jonah Hill's new dark comedy Outcome, The Hollywood Reporter (THR) reported on Tuesday.
This long-awaited project marks Hill's latest directorial venture and promises to bring together a talented cast under the Apple Studios banner. according to To THR. “Outcome” is poised to give audiences a deep dive into the tumultuous life of Reeves’ character Leaf. Leaf, a Hollywood star battling a checkered past, is forced to confront his inner demons head-on when he finds himself blackmailed with a dangerous video from his youth. This narrative thrust provides a compelling backdrop for the film and shows Reeves' versatility and depth as an actor.

Diaz, who has played iconic roles in films such as “There's Something About Mary,'' “The Mask,'' and the “Charlie's Angels'' series, will star opposite Reeves. Meanwhile, the outlet said Reeves is fresh off the back of success with the latest John Wick movie, where he continues to demonstrate his timeless appeal and status as a blockbuster in the industry. The project was finalized at Apple Studios last year, with Hill co-writing it with Ezra Woods. According to THR, Hill will also produce the film under the Strong Baby banner. This will be a reunion project between Apple Original Films and Strong Baby, who previously collaborated on a Grateful Dead biopic, and is currently in development with director Martin Scorsese's Sikelia Productions at the helm.
