Kingman Begins Work on Two Projects on March 11

The City of Kingman will begin two projects on Monday, March 11th. The first project includes the Andy Devine ADA Improvement Project. His second project on Beale Street will have limited parking due to the installation of light fixtures.

Andy Devine ADA Improvement Project

Starting Monday, March 11, the City of Kingman will begin work on the Andy Devine ADA Improvement Project, which will be funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. This project will address his ADA needs at Hall Street, Johnson Avenue, Broadway Avenue, and East Andy Devine Avenue. Lane restrictions and intermittent road closures will occur during the project period. Lane restrictions will be in place from 6 a.m. on Monday, March 11 until the project's expected completion by the end of July 2024.

Beale Street parking restrictions

Starting Monday, March 11, 2024, the City of Kingman will implement parking restrictions along Beale Street to facilitate the installation of lighting fixtures as part of the Downtown Streetscape Project. The north side of Beale Street is expected to be completed on Monday, March 11th, and the south side on Tuesday, March 12th. Parking restrictions will be in place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The installation of the light fixtures adds the final touch to the first two stages of the project.

The City of Kingman urges those passing through the work zone to use caution and provide a safe working environment for workers, the motoring public, and pedestrians.
