Palmer says Biden’s indecision and weakness cause allies to suffer

U.S. Representative Gary Palmer recently criticized the Biden administration for being indecisive in its support for Israel, saying Israel's efforts to oust Hamas from the Gaza Strip are justified.

“If President Biden shows indecision and weakness toward our adversaries around the world, our friends will suffer,” Palmer said. (Republican Senator Hoover) “The attacks on Israel and the massacre of Israeli citizens by the Hamas terrorist group justify Israel's determination to expel Hamas from Gaza.”

Protests in support of Hamas and Gaza have taken place across the country in recent weeks.

“The Biden administration's failed leadership is not only encouraging these attacks abroad, it is also sowing unrest at home,” Palmer said. “College campuses across the country have been taken over by anti-Semitic and anti-American protests. Ironically, these anti-Semitic and anti-American protests are being funded by the same people and organizations that fund left-wing politicians.”

The administration has recently withheld arms exports to Israel.

“Let's be clear: anti-Semitism has no place in our country,” Palmer said. “The Biden administration should condemn these protests, stop withholding congressionally appropriated funds for military aid to Israel, and show that the United States stands with Israel.”

Palmer dismissed the campus protests as part of a larger left-wing conspiracy.

Israel launched an invasion of Gaza following an October Hamas attack. Congress approved a foreign aid package last month that included aid to Israel. The Biden administration has held up deliveries of some of those weapons systems over concerns about civilian deaths in Gaza.
