2024 Power & Influence: Who’s Next?

Next week, the 12th annual Yellow Hammer News Power & Influence Top 50 list will be released, and in the lead-up, we are proud to revive our tradition of asking a key question in Alabama’s political landscape: “Who’s next?”

Each year, Power & Influence provides the most candid insight into the top 50 influential leaders who are driving Montgomery in business, politics and public service and using their influence for the good of Alabama.

Today, we turn that insight to Alabama’s next generation of leaders. Below are nine people described in words that leaders use to describe their influence, effectiveness, and upward trajectory. Each of them is well on their way to running the state.
