University of Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe has always been the center of attention in television interviews, and his trademark “ROLL TIDE!” has become iconic after wins this season.
On Thursday night, Milroe got another chance to shine in front of the microphone when his good friend Terrion Arnold was selected 24th overall in the NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions.

Milroe was interviewed shortly after and spoke of his pride in his former teammate and good friend Arnold, but the highlight of the interview came when Laura Rutledge said that Nick Saban, who was with Milroe on the ABC interview, told him that Saban could hear him.
“Hey coach, how's it going?” Milroe said with a big smile and a hearty laugh. The camera quickly cut to a smiling Saban, who greeted Jalen and told him he wished he'd been in the Green Room with his former players.

Before his showdown with Saban, Milroe spoke glowingly about Arnold.
“We started college as teammates and now we're brothers, so it's really amazing for him to have this opportunity. Just sharing this moment with him and being at Michigan means a lot. I know Terrion's been through a lot and I'm just amazed by his character on and off the field and I'm excited for him and his family,” Milroe said.
Saban's draft coverage was generally very positive, with most commenting that he already looks like a seasoned pro.
Another thing that makes the GOAT excel.
