Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to announce the Northern Arizona premiere of “The Conqueror: Hollywood Fallout,” screening July 12-18 at the Alice Gill Sheldon Theatre.
A scary movie, an American tragedy, a global nightmare.
In Hollywood's infamous flop, The Conqueror, John Wayne plays Genghis Khan and embodies many of the issues of racism and sexism.
The film remains infamous due to the tragic fact that almost half the cast and crew developed cancer, exposing government deception and production negligence, and highlighting the devastating effects of nuclear radiation.
The Conqueror: Hollywood Fallout will be screening at the Alice Gill Sheldon Theatre from July 12th to July 18th. Showtimes are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 12th, 13th and 14th at 6:30pm, and Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, July 15th, 17th and 18th at 3:30pm.
Tickets are $12, or $9 for festival members. For tickets or more information, call 928-282-1177. Both the theater and festival offices are at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A in West Sedona. For more information, visit the website at Sedona Film Festival.
