The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a woman falling off a 140-foot cliff on Bear Mountain Monday morning.

The woman, identified by the sheriff's office as 40-year-old Zainab Joseph, had been hiking with her husband and 1-year-old child. The family, who live in California, had rented an Airbnb in Sedona, according to the sheriff's office.

A group of hikers heard screams, stopped and found Joseph seriously injured, according to the department.
