Police reportedly arrested rapper Lil Reese and took him in handcuffs from a downtown Los Angeles hotel after a woman accused him of rape.

According to law enforcement sources, the woman called police from the hotel lobby at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, claiming she had gone on a dinner date with Lil Reese, but shortly after the meal he allegedly began forcing himself on her for sex. TMZPolice say the unidentified woman allegedly rejected the rapper's advances but he forced himself on her and raped her.

According to TMZ, officers arrived on the scene and arrested 31-year-old Lil Reese, whose real name is Tavares Taylor, on suspicion of sexual assault and rape.

Fellow rapper Boosie Badazz claims to have witnessed Lil Reese's exchange and posted his thoughts on the matter on social media.

Boosie Badazz added: “Someone lied to him or something.”

Lil Reese was subsequently released on $100,000 bail and reportedly quickly broke his silence on the matter.

He gave his views on the serious allegations made against him.

“This story was made up by my sister Lillie,” Lil Reese wrote on social media.

“Damn I may look like this but I know better. They're posting just like you are posting on my court date to get this case dismissed. They'll do anything for clout to get ahead again,” he said.
